This spring the band signed a record deal with Massacre Records. With this deal the band comes out with their debut 'Lux Noxtis', which means nocturnal light. Tobias Schonemann, who also worked with The Vision Bleak and Eisregen, produced this album.

Good things hardly ever come alone, and that's a thing that Coronatus did very well: they put two women in the front instead of just one. Carmen takes care of the opera vocals (like Tarja Turunen, ex Nightwish) and Ada with her rock voice (like Helen Vogt of Flowing Tears) does the more rougher parts. And of course as proud as they are, the two ladies are placed on the front cover. The opera voice of Carmen dominates the first part of the album. So Ada can't let us hear what kind of qualities she has until the second part of the album starts. The change between the two vocalists kind of takes place when the song 'My Rose Desire' starts. As from this part we can hear a good interaction and cooperation. And because of a perfect combination in the second part of the CD they don't have to use any choirs to fill up parts.

The record contains eleven good produced songs of which three are instrumental pieces ('Interrotte Speranze', 'Winter' en 'In Remembrance'). The three instrumentals are spread throughout the album, yet they don't divide the album into different parts. So there are no musical changes through the whole album. In the opener 'Interrote Speranze' we can hear a sample of someone walking to a door, opening it and then we can hear a sound of a choir carrying us into the next song. The other two instrumental parts are mainly lead by a acoustic guitar. The remaining songs contain many fast drum- and guitar parts, which have a lot of power and up tempo arrangements. Unlike so many other gothic metal bands you will not find any ballad on the entire album, yet unfortunately no surprising inversions either. The attractive synths make this part better because they add the right atmosphere to these parts. Secretly I like bands which are using a violin like you can hear in the song 'Ich Atme Zeit'. But mainly because of the two fronted females, singing in German, English and Latin, we can speak of a very interesting, surprising and accessible debut album.

А вот инстументальные вставки да и вообще музон порадовал.

до конца года ещё выйдут Gamma Ray и Avantasia

И Helloween и Axxis и Judas Priest и Shaman

Задумка хорошая, но поют как-то без души. (по сравнению с Nightwish скажем)
А вот инстументальные вставки да и вообще музон порадовал.
