Saint-Germain-des-Pres-Cafe; Collection finds its roots in the small jazz clubs with a smoky atmosphere located in the famous cellars of " Saint-Germain des Prés " in Paris, where New Orleans or Be Bop Jazz was brought to the clubs by the greatest geniuses Jazzmen like Sydney Bechet and later Duke Ellington or Miles Davies who, along with French intellectuals such as Boris Vian, Albert Camus or Jean Cocteau, gave the area its specificity and ensured its success in the post-war period. Lying on the southern bank of the river " Seine " Saint -Germain is still today synonymous with artistic life and music, times have changed but the Magic of that area still remains.
