Zakk Wylde's Black Label Society - Boozed, Broozed, & Broken Boned

For all who have been waiting, yep this is the first DVD ever from metal guitar god Zakk Wylde and his always changing Black Label Society. Since he began playing guitar with Ozzy at the age of 19, Zakk Wylde has become one of the true masters of metal guitar, shredding his way to the top of his game. The new DVD (which is live with the Detroit Chapter of totally nuts fans) not only shows a totally awesome live show, but has an interview with Zakk, guitar lessons, some accoustic BLS, live Tokyo footage and more.
The live show not only re-qualifies Zakk as one of the true metal axe grinding masters, but also gives you a look into the life of Wylde, insight into what is the Black Label Society (sort of a Hell's Angels for metal heads), and behind the scenes footage too. In the guitar lessons, Zakk proclaims "This is easy stuff....", well maybe if you are Zakk Wylde this is easy stuff, but for the beginner this is anything but easy stuff. The form may be easy, but the execution is speed metal shredding which is in itself an art.
So, what do we have ? A full concert ( featuring everything from "Demise Of Sanity", to "Bleed For Me" and a wicked performance of the National Anthem), guitar lessons, an interview with the wild man (who talks frankly about his time with Ozzy, his guitar heroes, and life on the road), and a sound of pure audio dynamite. So all in all, there is a bit of everything for the fans, with all the F words still intact, and a truly memorable concert.
Black Label Society's first ever DVD is a keeper, a pure metal showcase from start to finish with inspired guitar work, and some of the greatest tunes BLS have recorded finally performed live. About 2 hours in total including all features, the concert may seem a bit short to some fans, but it is all here. Zakk Wylde and Black Label Society show why they are at the top of the genre, and are going to stay atop for some time to come.
