Dave Chastain & The Blues Rockers 1992 Something For The Pain @320 Originally from Paragould Arkansas, Dave Chastain is a mid-western living legend who is considered by many to be the best blues guitarist in the midwest. It has been said by some that his every performance is a soul stirring, spontanious healing experience. Influenced by many great blues guitarists including Albert King, Stevie Ray Vaughan, Johnny Winter and Jimmy Hendrix, Dave Chastain has developed a style all his own and has written, recorded and released three albums featuring absolute top quality vocals as well as musicianship. In 1979, he received the best song award from WWCT, a Peoria, Illinois local radio station. Dave Chastain has shared the stage with numerous top acts, including The Outlaws, Molly Hatchet, Greg Allman, Buddy Guy, Johnny Winter, Elvin Bishop, The Marshall Tucker Band and many others.
