Hong Kong is no doubt a city of romance. It’s where East and West collide, and the sparkles find their roots and settle right by the Victoria Harbour. Nothing is of pure essence here; even in a casually taken snap shot photo, unsophisticated sampans are seen against the towering skyscrapers. In the album, Trendy Eastern, the contradictory and yet beautiful urban music tracks are included in the most candid way. The album contains songs fully immersed in multiple cultures, including tracks by Trance phenomenon Blank & Jones (presented here a rare Downtempo number, "Relax"), the Flemenco flavor Jojo Effect, and other songs that are a bit French chanson-like and Broadway jazzy. Listening to it is like going through a day trip from dawn till dusk, and into the decadent nightclubs in the settlement that are one hundred years old. All you have to do is gently sway with sea water on a sampan, feeling the authentic HK vogue.
