Brazil. Home of an infectious rhythm, the Samba; an enchanted city, Rio; and a remarkable musician you won´t soon forget, ANA CARAM.  But our story begins down in São Paulo, roughly a hundred and fifty miles from Rio. October 1st, 1958 to be exact. Ana is born into a very musical family. A sensitive child whose natural affinity for all forms of musical expression, hard work and dedication transforms her into an accomplished flutist, guitarist and vocalist, with a degree in composition and conducting from São Paulo University. Next stop, Rio.  Pursuing her career with the same passion and energy as her music, she meets with the Godfather of Brazilian sounds, Antônio Carlos Jobim. I could at once see she was a very talented girl.”  And so, Ana began to build a considerable following in Brazil, touring the country and recording. But it was a trip to Finland that eventually led her to New York. While performing at the Sea Jazz Festival, she met Paquito D´Rivera. He then honored Ana with an invitation to sing with his band as part of the JVC Jazz Festival at Carnegie Hall.  That night, a Chesky Records representative was present and mesmerized by her talent and consequently she was hired to record her first album, RIO AFTER DARK, which elicited wonderful reviews from such sources as Stereophile and The New York Times.  Following her smash debut, Chesky released Amazônia and The Other Side of Jobim, a tribute to her musical idol and close friend Antônio Carlos Jobim; Bossa Nova, Maracanã and Postcards from Rio, a collection hilighting her most beloved performances.  On most recent release with Chesky Recods, BLUE BOSSA, Ana Caram celebrates the brilliant marriage between Brazilian song and America’s “Cool Jazz”, resulting in a very cool glimpse into the Bossa Nova scene of a 1960's Jazz club. Blue Bossa features Ana interpreting classic, unforgettable songs from Antônio Carlos Jobim, Ivan Lins, Baden Powell and many others in her inimitable style.  Ana Caram has earned much admiration and respect for her beautiful and captivating renditions of these classics in the past, and with Blue Bossa, she continues to perform them with a special brilliance and panache.

Thanx, but... you are releasing so fast, so much... :w00t: Do you have enough bandwidth to support so many releases simultaneously? How long this releases will alive? I can't download so fast... :(

Don´t worry.I´m startin to slow down.I will explain you.I am PA at the biggest portuguese Forum.We have about 70.000 users and about 20 PA posting only at the music departement.I post there a long time ago.I´m well knowned of some users (portuguese and outside Portugal),so my posts have lots of downloads and they are quickly spread on the donkey net.Because we have the same common language, we have also lots of brazilian people downloading our stuff.The posts i made here,the most part of it, have already done in Portugal a long time ago,only 3 or 4 are really newer and don´t have too much fonts.I´m talking about Joyce, Joe Beard and Junior Wells.The rest i think there will be no problem and soon you will have it.Just one more thing to say.I had only released here the lossless codecs.I have a lot made at 320 K LAME mp3 that i will not post here.And by the way,the only lossy cd i released here(Rodrigo Leão),is wonderful music,but i´m afraid that nobody will download it.Give it a try and after hearing it give me your opinion.I´m sure you will not be sorrow.Maybe you become addicted. :w00t:

By the way, if mp3-versions of your releases exists, maybe it possible to post both links, ape and mp3? I prefer mp3 because my conditions of listening not so high to feel difference between losless format and good mp3. :music:
And I just added Rodrigo Leão in my downloads, thanx. :)
