Powershare for 1 and 9. My friend Shy Beast will help with some files too. QUOTE | Review MTM will release a DVD/CD with Norweigian rockers TNT from their very last show with the original line-up Tony Harnell, Ronni Le Tekro and Diesel Dahl. Tony Harnell decided to leave the band right after this show so this is your last chance to see them play your favourite TNT songs. This show was recorded in Madrid, Spain and contains 85 minutes of running time and seems to be recorded in a smaller venue with a crowd of a few hundred people. The stage is kind of small but the band delivers a show with lots of energy and they seemed to have fun on the stage, they play many of their classic songs from the 80s mixed with a couple from the MTM released albums "My Religion" and "All The Way To The Sun". They play only 2 songs "A Fix" and "Black Butterfly" from the latest album that I think is one of the better songs from that album that I think never reached the same level as My Religion.
It sounds like many of the background voices are on tape because they sound so huge and crystal clear. But I don't mind it at all because TNT are known to have powerful harmony and background vocals to make them sound huge. This is a very nice DVD and to hear songs like "As Far As The Eye Can See", "Downhill Racer", "Caught Between The Tigers", "Listen To Your Heart" (fantastic and powerful vocals), "Seven Seals", "Forever Shine On", "10.000 Lovers" (In One) and "Intuition" is just amazing. Tony Harnell sings with such power, feeling and he really shows what a fantastic singer he is. There is also some bonusmaterial with two live clips one taken from their gig at the Sweden Rock Festival and a clip with the band where they meet the fans. Too bad that they couldn't put in some classic TNT videos to spice up the bonus material. Still, this is and will be a collector's item for sure and fans of TNT will have a great time with this DVD. The CD contains the same tracklist as the DVD. |
QUOTE | Tnt - Live In Madrid
Total time: 85.0 (MTM)
A great performance by a great band. The last show filmed with the "original" TNT line up, was made last year at a small club in Madrid. How these Spaniards, get all the luck, I don't know. TNT have reinforced their sound with the addition of keyboards on stage and for almost one and a half hour, a best of the band is coming through your screen, As usual Tony Harnel's voice is close to a God Experience, totally devastating, singing high notes and melodic hooks, like singing pop songs from the TOP 40. Ronni Le Tekro seemed to enjoyed the show, while the rest of the band also participated to a real farewell , melodic hard rock orgy. The dvd value, is more sentimental, as we don't have IRON MAIDEN 52 cameras and high cost productions, but we have songs that are now a rock history chapter and artists who stood true to their dream. An amazing performance, of the highest calibre, even if the club is small and the crowd, is close to the cemetery activity level, what can you expect from Spain? I wish they had done this to Greece, anyway. Along with the DVD comes and the audio version of the show, and all of them ,are more than welcome, they are absolutely needed for everyone in the genre. Still the set list could be a little more representative. We expect the new TNT reincarnation with Tony Mills to produce at least such quality shows and albums.
This Greek is a fool
