practice should always follow theory ![]() ![]() so PAR files could be of help. would propose to add warning in your first message that the disk is not for most hardware players at least ![]() |

Then how come I play the VIDEO_TS files with PowerDVD in my PC OK 100%?? I am am talking about the "copy" I tested, NOT the original DVD. ALL my DVDs include an "Extras_ts" folder and I have never had a problem so far because of that. Where did you get that theory?? I am just curious... |

Simple answer is that most hardware players use different method to navigate through disk than windvd/powerdvd. The players use "hard" links from menues to LBA addresses. Software players may (and most probably are) use filenames and file system for navigation. Good idea was to test it at least on some hardware players thought. So .par files would of help. Good thing in all this story is that links do audio_ts remain in tact and my pioneer was able to play it. |

1.- I don't seem to have 100 different players to test and "please" everybody, sorry. 2.- I tested the damn copy and it always worked (pc and standalone dvd player). I did not tested in a real Audio dvd Player just because I don't have any. 3.- I am sorry for those having "players with "hard" links from menues to LBA addresses". You should have bought a cheap one -as is mine- able to read any DVD as long as there is a VIDEO_TS folder inside. 4.- If unhappy, extract the ISO, delete the EXTRAS_TS folder and make a new ISO so you get the original "structure" again. 5.- Should you want to play just the VIDEO_TS folder in any conventional and not-so-picky DVD player, just burn a DVD Video with the VIDEO_TS files. ![]() |

![]() if you will be able to make .pars as you offered here that will be of help. DL DVD-A discs should be backed up with DVD Fab Platinum at first and if not - using method described here Post Link: DVD-Audio (can translate it for you if needed - use PM) please do not embed anything in original .iso image - the structure will be destroyed, .mdf file became useless, etc. Embedding extra folder/file right in the end of disc is almost impossible as root folder is going to be changed. Removing anything embedded won't result in getting original image as opposed to common sense. at least original is original - as one may see people usually share two files: .iso and .rar containing mds/ini+scans. |
