Bernardo Storace, an enigmatic composer about whom hardly anything is known -except for the fact that when his Selva (1664) was published he was assistant maestro di cappella of the Senate in the city of Messina (Sicily)- is a musical bridge between Frescobaldi and Scarlatti. His oeuvre is a fascinating bric-a-brac of pieces: capricci, toccate, canzoni, ricercari, correnti, balletti, gagliarde... Without a doubt, however, the two fundamental pillars of the Selva are, on the one hand, the variations on ostinato figures (as is the case with the Passagagli, the Romanesca and the Spagnoletta), and on the other, a long and hypnotic composition, the Pastorale, which evokes echoes of Sicilian popular music and is built upon an endless pedal tone that seems to presage contemporary minimalist music. Fabio Bonizzoni, organist and harpsichordist from Milan, has an international career as a soloist, as director of his own ensemble, La Risonanza, and as a continuo player in the vocal group La Venexiana and in orchestras such as Ton Koopman's Amsterdam Baroque Orchestra and Fabio Biondi's Europa Galante. After having graduated in Italy in organ, organ composition and harpsichord cum laude, from 1987 to 1994 he studied under Ton Koopman at the Royal Conservatory of The Hague where he graduated in both baroque organ and solo harpsichord. He has appeared in numerous programmes broadcast by the BBC, WDR, Radio France, SWF, ORF and HR. After making several recordings for Arcana, Symphonia and Stradivarius, he is now recording exclusively for the label Glossa, both as a soloist and with his group, La Risonanza. He can also be heard playing chamber and orchestral music on CDs for labels such as Virgin, Erato, Opus 111, MDG and Cantus. He is harpsichord professor at the Conservatories of Trapani (Italy) and Lugano (Switzerland). ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- With blinding virtuosity and deeply-felt musicality, Fabio Bonizzoni takes us to an intense journey through the Selva. A recording both difficult and complex, full of harmonies and sonorities typical of the Italian Seicento -we might point out the marvellous Sicilian organ from the Abbey of Petralia Sottana-, it is accompanied by the excellent notes written by Stefano Russomanno. |

 Послушал я этот диск. Вах-Вах... Я конечно знаю, night-jar ерунду не подсовывает, как некоторые заГордившиеся типы... Но что бы такое качество, такой поток чувств!!! Не ожидал.  Органная часть впечатлила не так, как клавесин! Казалось, что вот сейчас отвалится одна из трубочек и капец. |

То клавикорд у тебя разваливается,теперь трубы и язычкив итальянском органе отваливаются! Это инструмент с тобой разговаривает помимо интерпретера...  Пора менять компьютерные пищалки фирмы Defender хотя бы на сделанные из дсп российские "Диалог"  (шутка) |
