The "Blasphemic Hyperblast Aggression" machinery is back with "Lucifer Incestus", the most probably all devastating round and is the undisputed highlight in the career of one of the most veteran and successful Austrian Death/Black Metal bands. After celebrating their ten year anniversary with the self produced (Phallelujah Productions) live album "Infernal Live Orgasm", the next ten years have been bid welcome with pure devastation.
The renowned label Napalm Records finally won the race for BELPHEGOR and all the problems of the past years concerning their previous label should be forgotten now. Compared to their last studio album "Necrodaemon Terrorsathan" there have been two line up changes, bassist Marius switched to PUNGENT STENCH (also with HOLLENTHON and COLLAPSE 7) and has been replaced by the long year companion Barth, while the job as drummer has been taken over by German drummer extraordinaire Torturer. So Helmuth (Guitar and Vocals) and Sigurd (Guitar) have a full crew again and let loose the cannon for further antichristian deeds.

The result is devastating, brutal and hyper fast, which should especially enthuse fans of KRISIUN, MORBID ANGEL, SETHERIAL or MAYHEM. And again BELPHEGOR managed to blend icy cold Black Metal with mean and brutal Death Metal. Exactly that union that already had made them unique and incalculable in the past. Vocally the inferno alternates between menacing grunts and infernal screaming, which makes the variation even bigger than on past grenades and additionally heats up the atmosphere. The mightily brutal production of Alex Krull (ATROCITY) then punches out the last teeth and manages to keep the filigree guitar arrangement listenable, yet still keeping up the brutal primordial force.

Great musicianship paired with inhuman power are the cornerstones of "Lucifer Incestus" and had they already found a true following, this should be further increased with the new masterpiece and should manifest their position in the Death and Black Metal Community. In this form BELPHEGOR are top notch and also the cover will not find as many censorship barriers and make the distribution of the new album easier.
