Already in the middle of the nineties he started propping up his sets with Fusion and NuJazz. He improved his skills in mixing , Offbeat and Headz at a time when other people were solely thinking about Acid Jazz. Over the years he's developed a truly original, roots orientated and very European style. This Mix CD is larded with his own productions and personal favourites and collects the highlights from his radio show IN SESSION on DJ-Sets.com. It also is a journey through the various musical influences that have inspired him as it covers a wide range of styles and artists: From the broken beats of London's hero Seiji to the mediterranean folk pop of Sonia Brex; or the Balkan Jazz Version of "Arabesque", combined with the reduced sounds of United Future Organization who masterfully convey a chamber music feeling; from the African power New York's singer Wunmi and Ras bring across to the Bavarian formation Space Clique and Motörjazz from Prague; from Viennese Dub by Stereotyp and Sugar B. to Kasar and Eva Be, dedicated breakbeatsters from Berlin. The nocturnal journey on an offbeat roadster further includes stops at Atomhockey's "S.O.U.L." and at Brazil influenced Landslide, only to return to the balearic feeling of Benny Luca. Here's a very personal summertape to you! Let it be your guide. (Sonar Kollektiv) Ripped with: EAC v0.95b2 (log follows) Format: WavPack - CUE and EAC log are tagged within Coverset + CUE and EAC log on 2nd link From the producer of Micatone Enjoy
