For more than 30 years, Kaipa have been the synonym for ambitious as well as original prog rock, deep-rooted in Swedish folk tradition. Guarantors for this kind of music were and still are keyboardist Hans Lundin and guitarist Roine Stolt (The Flower Kings). Both founding members made a comeback with their band in 2002, after 20 years of silence. On the occasion of their 30th anniversary a neatly designed 5-CD box - 'The Decca Years 1975 - 1978'. This box presents a complete overview over the material of the early years of Kaipa. This means that first of all you will find the first three albums by the band, all remastered and featuring bonus material: 'Kaipa' (1975, with two bonus tracks), 'Inget nytt uner solen' (1976, four bonus tracks), 'Solo' (1978).
The debut album and 'Inget nytt uner solen' already shows Kaipa in topform, playing old school prog which will make friends of Seventies sounds happy - atmospheric, melodic, and, in the positive sense of the word, dramatic. On both albums, the obligatory longtracks are of course there, too, and especially 'Inget...' is regarded as absolutely being one of the crucial Swedish progressive rock albums. However, 'Solo' mostly offers compact titles when Kaipa was trying to catch up with the dominating zeitgeist at the end of the 70`s.
Two CDs full of previously - in this form - unreleased material invite fans to a journey into the sound cosmos of the Swedish group: 'Kaipa live' features eleven titles recorded live at the time in Denmark and Sweden; and finally '1974 Unedited Master Demo Recording' collects eleven demo tracks, partly of previously unkown songs.
'The Decca Years 1975 - 1978' has a richly illustrated, 56 page booklet with many rare photos and extensive new liner notes by Roine Stolt. This 5-CD box is released worldwide in a limited edition of 3000 copies.

..every album ever released by the superb 70s Swedish prog band Kaipa, who featured a then very young and budding guitarist by the name of Roine Stolt, later of course to front the excellent Flower Kings. This very special limited edition features every KAIPA album from the period 1975-78 (punk never really took off in Sweden until the 90s when Fireside and Refused turned up!!). All gathered together in one box, with 2 additional CDs, one of which features unreleased live tracks and the other songs that have never been previously released.

Пират остался верным фиолетово-неоновому дирижаблю версии 4.02! Нет бы поэксперементировать с Xtreme видами спорта или другую религию (секта "ScarAngel") и FunnyNick есть. Бери в пример "FunnyNick_Bright Duck"

Я в последние годы только и хожу на большие расстояния.
Меняю судна, моря и команду.
Но потом вернусь наконец в свою родную бухту,
сядем мы с друзьями на старенькую яхту, выйдем в "прибрежное плавание",
и до..... всякие моря и страны!

Да, именно - с друзъями и в бухту, бухтать....

эт легко обьяснимо:
годам к 50ти, как известно, "долгосрочная память" четко преобладает над "оперативной" а ежель ещё и с друзьями "набухтаться" маленько, то реальность сегодяшняя отдвигается лет на 30!

это я к тому, что.... ну по новому ГОСТу сделать ну может быть... не знаю даже точно... но думаю, что был бы признателен

я бы с удовольствием по десятку раз ТАКОЕ переделывал бы!

источников покамест хватает? а "производственных мощностей" - не очень а тут еще друзьяки типа КиллераРипса как сказились - засыпают новыми изданиями и известно, что сьешь сначала у соседа...
