Guitarist "Big" John Thomas displays the unenviable talent of regurgitating the most trite power chords and solos imaginable into songs like "Truth Drug" and the unbearable "Don't Cry." The band finally gets it together for closer "Hold on to

Love," but by then it's too little, too late.
