Among Russia’s well-known groups of musicians is Siberian Violinists Ensemble headed by Michail Parkhomovsky its permanent artistic director. The Ensemble has developed its distinctive manner of performance, determined its repertoire and won recognition of numerous listeners by virtuosic skill, wealth of style and timbre which makes the sound of violin so rich and expressive. Artists of the country’s leading opera house take part in the ensemble’s concerts: thus many years of friendship link the ensemble with the noted Soviet singer, USSR People’s Artist Anatoli Solovyanenko. "Working together with this first-rate vocalist is a real aesthetic pleasure for us", says Michail Parkhomovsky. And the ads: "Each contact with him enables us to learn much from an artist who with his mastery encourages our ensemble in its constant pursuit of perfection". Siberian Violinists Ensemble made a number of unique recordings. One of them is "Seasons" by P. Tchaikovsky.
