Review
"Nursery Cryme" is the third studio album by Genesis and was recorded and released in 1971. It is also the first album to feature the lineup of Peter Gabriel, Tony Banks, Mike Rutherford, Phil Collins, and Steve Hackett, the latter two replacing John Mayhew and Anthony Phillips on drums and guitar, respectively in 1970 following the release of Trespass. This lineup would remain consistent until Gabriel's departure in 1975. While this album was being written parts of it were written by temporary band member Mick Barnard. In an interview, Tony Banks stated, "Steve was in the band a very short time when we recorded 'Nursery Cryme.' All the guitar parts on "Musical Box" were actually written by Mick; Steve tended to play pretty much what Mick had played 'cause there wasn't much time to learn new parts. Most of the guitar on it is Mike anyhow-all the rhythm guitar, it always was. There wasn't that much lead guitar on it." - By Jon Young Trouser Press magazine, March 1982.

Nursery Cryme

There appear to be THREE original masterings of this title.

Two of the V/C variants are re-EQ'd copies of the V/C Nimbus mastering. There is an early German V/C version that is louder than all other versions.

Version 1
[BE] - V/C Nimbus : 100.0% - 52.7% - 100.0% - 98.5% - 92.7% - 53.3% - 100.0%
[Gardo] - V/C EMI Swindon, UK : 100.0% - 52.7% - 100.0% - 98.5% - 92.7% - 53.3% - 100.0%
[Raf] - V/C DADC, Austria : 100.0% - 52.7% - 100.0% - 98.5% - 92.7% - 53.3% - 100.0%
[Jeff] - V/C Virgin Megastore : 100.0% - 52.7% - 100.0% - 98.5% - 92.7% - 53.3% - 100.0%

насчет pre-emphasis сомневался, поспрашивал у Стива на форуме, народ грит что нету. Потестировал высокие на большой громкости - deemephed версия режет ухо

Nope, no pre emphasis on mine and the on the 32VD Japan 1st.

You would notice a treble decrease whether it had PE or not if you de Emped. The true test is which one holds together for sonics at a loud volume. That's how you'll know because if the de Emped starts falling apart so to speak at loud volumes I'll bet the non de Emped will sound good.
