Warmen may have started out in 2000 as Children Of Bodom keyboardist Janne Warman's solo proejct with a bunch of hired guns helping him to put his musical inspiration to life. Their Unknown Soldier -debut was exactly that, but already on their second effort Beyond Abilities (2002) Warmen was already more of a real band.
During the recordings of the band's latest studio outing Accept The Fact (2005) the concept of Warmen became even more clear. It's all about friends gathering together to have a good time and to challenge each other musically. The single cuts from Accept The Fact, namely the Rockwell cover "Somebody's Watching Me" featuring Alexi Laiho and the band's original track "They All Blame Me" featuring Jonna Kosonen, both received a significant amount of air time on Finnish radio stations.
Now, a few years later, Warmen has finished recording their fourth album "Japanese Hospitality". Guitarist Antti Warman comments: "The upcoming album will without a doubt be our strongest one to date. It features some killer vocalists and has the best songs we have ever composed. The production is going to be top notch as well and we are aiming for a September release via Spinefarm Records."
