In any case, this band from the USA is pure cult! How long have I waited for this one? After their grandiose Into The Infernal Regions Of The Ancient Cult album the new masterpiece is finally available. Ancient Black Metal hymns (no band sounds like them!), impressive yet straight drum work and guitar riffs and the fantastic voice of mastermind Dagon which isn?t comparable to any other shouter in the entire underground scene! Indeed the sound and the feeling of this cult can not be described in human words nor letters. Ultra-fast blast parts change into great melody-bows, the sound is again perfect and the visual aura of the album could not be done better! This band in its feeling is unobtainable. Американское трио, реализовавшее свой дебютный релиз, находится и по сей день в тотальном андеграунде, куда сами себя и загнали. Мелодично-атмосфернный Doomy Black/Death, с сыроватым саудом. Среднетемповые, продолжительные, размеренные и неторопливо тяжелые композиции. Вокальные партии представляют определенный интерес, какой-то рэповый речетатив, исполненный ржавым скрипучим вокалом, плюс простые песнопения, в крайнем случае, весьма нетрадиционно воспринимающиеся. Мне очень понравилось, хотя однозначно определить не могу значимость сего релиза. True наклонности, но исполнение нестилевое, качество реализации хорошее, но андеграундное, материал интересный и достаточно оригинальный, но не шедевральный. Что-то непонятное, одним словом. Hо точно могу вам сказать, что лучше вы найдите этот релиз в свою коллекцию, он ее достоин..
Well, I really wanted to listen it, so I get it without hesitating. Surprise: a MASTERPIECE!!! Now the leader Dagon has moved to U.S.A., and there, with two more members, have done this opus. Here we have a rather odd CD by the Colombian/US phenomenon known as Inquisition. This is their first full-length, I believe, and it is of the very well played black thrash variety.
The drumming deserves special mention as it is clean and precise. Inquisition really are a talented band and should definitely have a place in your album collection. The quite odd vocals combined with the great music really cause Inquisition to give off a singularly intriguing atmosphere. This is not typical and imitative, but interesting and obscure-minded.
