It was thirty years ago when That's the Way of the World was released and it instantly catapulted the band into super-stardom. The year was 1975 and the members of Earth, Wind and Fire’s afros were big, but the incredible sound of this powerful band was much bigger! The entire album is filled is the most infectious, funky grooves. This soundtrack from the film of the same name, starring a young Harvey Keitel, is filled with larger than life classics. "Shining Star" was written during the recording sessions; Maurice White so was overwhelmed by all the beauty of the stars in the clear mountainous skies of Colorado, he wrote the band’s first #1 hit single. Mobile Fidelity’s newly re-mastered Hybrid SACD was cut from the Original Master Recording on their revolutionary GAIN 2™ System. The sonic improvements are earth shattering on this release!
