Review:
The cover is quite ugly... but I don't think you guys really care about that... Anyway, the first thing you see when you remove the cd from its box, is a big close up to a wide open, red cunt ... Very tasty! But don't expect any porn there! It's what you could probably call brutal and heavy death/grind metal, with good enough musicianship, in the vein of Napalm Death in "Harmony Corruption' period, maybe more grinding and fast, with mainly growling vocals but also backing screams which make it pretty more powerful, full of violent anger... Drums are very tight and fast, guitars are low tuned and fast too... Lyrics are something like social lyrix; but not really in fact... one is about abortion(they are apparently against it?) and another about maltreated children... They can be interesting sometimes, but unfortunately, most of them are a little boring and written in quite bad english (worst than my english! so even harder to understand)... The album consists of 11 songs(including 1 intro and 1 outro) and 2 bonus tracks(which sound rawer, and better than the rest)... The song "Fever 39,7" is really great coz they use vocal effects on it(they should use effects more often!). Anyway, this is a good czech band, this is their debut album, and if you're into all kinds of grinding brutal death I can only advise you to get this record! It's released through a czech label, Leviathan Records (which later released Purulent Spermcanal's albums).
