tracks: 1. Welcome (intro) 2. Time and space 3. Miracles 4. Seize the day 5. Hand of fate 6. Wings of freedom 7. Spanish eyes 8. No release? 9. Chamber of secrets 10. Be thy cross my victory 11. Symphony of glory label: Sound Riot Records lineup: Thomas Chr.Hansen - guitar, vocals Joakim "Jokke" Kjelstad - guitar, choir Mikael Duna - drums Yngve Hanssen - bass Gaia Epicus are back with a stronger album than Satrap! The main reason why it catched my attention at first listen is the fact that there's more catchy moments on this one and the guitar has been ore than well done! Fans of huge solos and fast thrashy riff will freak out! Again on this release the intensity as peen push to the max and even if they don't pushed the boundaries of power metal, I really think that those melodies deserve attention. The catchy melodies of Sieze the day is a pure power metal anthem and the grooves and electrifying riffs of Miracles, Hand of Fate & Wings of Freedoms make me feel like I'm stronger than all! Be thy cross my victory is another strong song and the title track 'Symphony of Glory' is a majestic 10 minutes track. Even if they could have cut a bit into this one, this is powerfull has hell!!! Bottom Line: Fans will definitly enjoy this release and power metal fans that didn't really enjoy Satrap could be surprised! I'm not a huge fans of Gaia Epicus's vocalist but I think he sounds great on this one!! |
