говорят что эта DVD-Audio звучит лучше чем SACD!

брешут! звучит хуже, но сам микс - эт, конечно, фантастика, абсолютно новое звучание альбома

А мне тоже показалось, что ДВД-А звучит по приятней SACD

нуууу, шеф... авторитетом давите? но против начальства не поспоришь

Не, я просто высказал своё мнение, оно может быть и ошибочным, скажу лиж одно звук супер и там и там

а SACD 5.1слухал? я только о качестве звука...

да, но там звук звучит ПО ДРУГОМУ. трудно сравнить

Cегодня завершился труд 4 месяцев - наконец скачал трибьютовый концерт с какого-то трекера 2DVD-5 "Wish You Here"

And what a backstory we have for this DVD set!
Recorded live at Bogart’s in Cincinnati on April 24 2004, this DVD is produced by the Cincinnati Tapers Consortium (CTC) with the approval of WISH YOU WERE HERE. Early in 2004, I was approached by videographer (and Pink Floyd fan) John Waters of the CTC who expressed an interest in doing a 6-camera video shoot of the band – as a band, we’ve been very conservative with our live audio/video releases, with limited runs & mixed results... But his enthusiasm for both the medium and the music convinced me that this was a win-win situation, we’ll try it and at least we would have updated video to use for promotional purposes... and if it kicks ass, maybe do a limited-run release.

Well, the best laid plans...
Cut to the chase: The day before the show, our guitarist/vocalist Scott Langston comes down with the flu, and he can barely talk, let alone sing... (The pain this man has endured since joining the band... but that’s another story!)
We’ll just have to make the best of it... Day of show, the band members & crew begin the journey from Cleveland to Cincinnati in various vehicles & truck (Tour bus? Yeah, right!). Not even halfway there, our passenger van breaks down, with the truck right behind. With a little elbow grease & the knowledge of our band mechanics, the band gets back on the road, albeit almost 3 hours late. And when you are timing out a road trip (with a band not set up for constant road gigs) where you need to get to the venue, unload, set up, soundcheck, eat dinner, etc. – well, let’s just say that everyone was more than a little frazzled from the rush (and we’re not talking a "good rush") of doing a 5-hour setup in about 2 hour’s time!
So of course, as performers, most of us felt that this wasn’t exactly one of our best shows – Scott was sick, we were very tense, and on top of it all – it was being filmed! Figures... We just "went with it" and did our thing....
I had basically written off the whole debacle until I got the video "work mix" of the show from John. In spite of our problems, the video crew was totally on top of their game, John added some cool video effects, and the show, while certainly not our best, was certainly not as terrible as I thought! I was still a little apprehensive because this video doesn’t really reflect our current show - it was the last for our former Lighting Director, and we’ve since moved in an exciting new direction with a new LD and new lights & effects.
That being said, and taking into consideration the events of the day, we hope you enjoy this video souvenir of WISH YOU WERE HERE!

Some technical notes: Check out the Audio options – it’s been mixed for 5.1 audio using a combination of live audience mics and the mixing board feed. There is also a commentary track by some members of WISH YOU WERE HERE – No one claims responsibility for any of that – listen at your own risk!
Other extras include a photo slide show by Joe Kleon along with audio of our WEBN & WOFX radio appearances that day, and live promotional videos of the band from 2001 & 2002.

Помните, было что-то такое в проектах флойдов. Там ещё у них была совместная пьянка с Романом Полански, Пети, ещё кем-то. И вроде они решили такое сделать. Я думал, что это всего лишь проект на бумаге. Но скачал вполне реальное видео.

А кто на самом деле постарался сделать DVD-A и откуда лента ?
Я слушал только DTS-Q8 и до сих пор не пришел в себя
